Fall Event at Neutaconkanut Hill

September 30, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department along with RI Land Trust Days and Blackstone Go! invite you to the Hill for their annual Fall Event featuring guided hikes, toasting marshmallows, live music, fire truck tour and mounted police. Bring your blanket or chair to sit on. If you have an instrument, feel free to bring it along to the meadow where we will all relax and enjoy the panoramic view of Providence.

Dwarf Nigerian Goats will be coming to Neutaconkanut Hill for the festival. Don’t miss meeting these adorable babies who will be helping to keep down the vegetation, especially the poison ivy, around the park.

All ages event, but walk is most suitable for ages 5 and up. No advance reservations required. Dress for hiking and day’s weather. Dogs on leash are welcome. Insect repellant is also recommended year round as a precaution against ticks which carry Lyme Disease. This event is free, but we suggest a $5 per family donation to help support the work of the Conservancy. Rain date will be October 1st, same time. Any postponement will be noted on the NHC Facebook page.
