The Cumberland Land Trust invites you to come enjoy a leisurely guided hike in the woods, see the results of beaver activity and learn the interesting history surrounding the Monastery property in Cumberland. We’ll make stops along the way to identify the historical features of the property including the Monks quarry.
The full walk will be four miles and take about 2 hours, however participants will also have the option of ending after 2 miles. Open to all ages; most appropriate for ages 6 and up. Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes for travel on established trails. There are some hills and trail is rocky in spots. Use bug repellant, bring a water bottle and binoculars if you like.
