Come on this leisurely hike with Audubon Society of Rhode Island and explore the changes of the season at Fort Wildlife Refuge. Search for wildlife and plants and learn about their folklore. This hike is easy to easy/moderate. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.

Directions: Fort Nature Refuge, (Rt. 5), 1443 Providence Pike, North Smithfield, RI. Take. RI-146 to the exit for RI-104 and follow it south (away from Woonsocket) to RI-5/Providence Pike. Turn right and arrive at the Fort Nature Refuge after 1/2 mile.
