The Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department along with RI Land Trust Days and Blackstone Go! invite you to the Hill for their annual Fall Event featuring guided hikes, toasting marshmallows, live music, fire truck tour and mounted police. You can even meet the kid goats from the Providence Parks Department. Learn the history of the hill and enjoy the view of the city of Providence. Bring your blanket or chair to sit on. If you have an instrument, feel free to bring it along to the meadow where we will all relax and enjoy the panoramic view of Providence.
All ages event, but the walk is most suitable for ages 5 and up. No advance reservations required. Dress for hiking and day’s weather. Dogs on leash are welcome. Insect repellant is also recommended year round as a precaution against ticks which carry Lyme Disease. This event is free, but we suggest a $5 per family donation to help support the work of the Conservancy. Any postponement will be noted on the Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy Inc. facebook page.
