The West Greenwich Land Trust invites you to explore its 80-acre Fry Pond Conservation Area on an approximately 2.5 mile guided hike through upland forest and past rock cairns, glacial pebbles, classic dry-stacked walls, and groves of wild blueberries. This hike will be led by Hank Webster of the West Greenwich Land Trust.
Plan to walk approximately 2.5 miles over rough ground and well-established hillside trails rated up to 4-C, which means a good deal of significant hill climbing and somewhat difficult terrain over rocky or rooted paths. As always, make sure you are well-equipped with appropriate attire and footwear.
Travel light but there are no services or conveniences along this trail. Reservations are not necessary but the walk will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
