Have you ever seen birds being banded? Here’s your chance! Learn about migratory bird research at this special Walk & Talk with Aquidneck Land Trust at Bailey Brook in Middletown.
Bailey Brook is a primary source of drinking water for Middletown and Newport residents and serves as habitat for several migratory bird species. The Aquidneck Land Trust worked in partnership with the Town of Middletown to preserve the parcel of land buffering Bailey Brook.
This free tour will be led by Aquidneck Land Trust former Board Chair Jim Chace and his students from Salve Regina University.
