An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day First of the month, repeating until December 31, 2018
Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department don’t want you to miss this Saturday walk with our guide from the Conservancy. Although Neutaconkanut is the only wild forest in Providence, the hill has long been noted for its amazing assortment of trees and its history.
Dress for the day’s weather – be sure to wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes. This walk is free, but we suggest a $5 per family donation to help support these events and the work of the Conservancy. No advance reservations required. Suitable for ages 5 and up. Dogs on leash are welcome. Insect repellant is also recommended year round as a precaution against ticks which carry Lyme Disease.
NHC will not hike if temperatures (or ‘feels like’ temperatures) are 20 degrees or below. Any cancellations will be noted on the NHC Facebook page and website (http://www.nhill.org/)
