Smithfield Land Trust and Smithfield Conservation Commission invite you to our properties. It is a wooded area with a narrow stream with ledges, boulders and outcroppings. It is part of the historic farmland that is throughout Smithfield. Please wear substantial shoes, bring water and bug spray. The Trails are hilly, rocky and narrow. It is moderately difficult and the hike will be about 2.5 to 3 miles.
This picturesque property was part of the historic farming community of Smithfield. A brook running through the property was important to the farmers for creating a cranberry bog and a small farm pond to water dairy cows and crops.
There is no rain date. Dogs must be leashed. Trails are narrow, so large active dogs might cause hazardous conditions.
