Boots & Beer hike in the Edward D. Vock Conservation Area at the corner of Jackson Schoolhouse Road and Olney Keach Road. Join us for a leisurely walk as we hike the Bob Cat Loop Trail. Sturdy hiking boots or sneakers are a must. The mile+ long trail climbs up a glacial esker or two, crosses a stream or two, and ends up in the first Rhode Island American Chestnut germ plasm orchard. Then join your fellow nature enthusiasts and relax at Bravo Brewing Company, 75 Pascoag Main Street, Pascoag, RI, 02859 for a beer (or whatever) and a slice or two of pizza.
Register on Meetup.
This event is free, but for each donation of $20 to the Burrillville Land Trust, you get one drink of your choice and a slice or two of pizza. All proceeds go towards our fund raising effort to Save Sweet’s Hill – 150 acres next to East Avenue in Harrisville.
Any forecasted rain at the time of the hike postpones the event to the following week. Notification via email and text.
