The Watch Hill Conservancy is excited to host a FREE Family Beach Exploration program at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, in the Napatree Point Conservation Area. Participants will join a Napatree Naturalist to learn about the different organisms found along the shores of Napatree. Participants will also assist with seine net sampling to discover the species found in Little Narragansett Bay.
Open to all ages and limited to 25 participants. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should be prepared to walk about 1 mile on the beach, get their feet wet, and clothing dirty. Light rain will not cancel this event, but a downpour will. Participants will receive an email the morning of the event if the event is canceled.
This program will leave from the Napatree Point Conservation Area entrance.

We ask that you do not bring your dog to while attending the Family Beach Exploration Program. More information about visiting Napatree can be found here.
Parking: Napatree Point Conservation Area does not have its own designated parking facilities. Watch Hill Village is a small, popular seaside community with a handful of parking options for visitors. In the height of the summer, these tend to fill quickly.
