Join the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District on Tuesday, October 18 to learn about common local fungi and their importance to our forested ecosystems. Please note that this is not a foraging/collecting walk, but a chance to learn about and enjoy fungi in their native environment. Our walk will be led by RI Mycological Society founder and NRICD Board Member Deana Tempest Thomas.
Be prepared for light hiking and the potential for mud and uneven terrain. Kid friendly. Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome. Please be prepared to pack out any dog waste.
