Join the Warren Land Conservation Trust for kite flying on the beach at Jacob’s Point off the East Bay Bike Path, overlooking the Warren River. Bring your own kite or borrow one of ours. All ages welcome.
The bike path and the trail to the beach are level and easy to walk, and the beach is soft sand (may not be suitable for wheelchairs). Bring sunscreen, water, and maybe bug spray.
The prevailing wind is southwest, and we’ve had gorgeous weather every year. Sandy beach, warm waters, on-shore breeze, with birds, boats and fish going by … What more could you want!
All ages welcome, dogs are welcome on a leash.
It’s about a half mile walk from parking to the beach. To reach us, park on Locust Terrace just before the Bike Path, and walk 0.3 mile (5 minutes) south towards Bristol. You’ll see the sign for Marilyn’s Trail on the right. Please be respectful when parking on Locust Terrace.
