This free tour and bird banding demonstration will be led by ALT former Board Chair and Salve Regina professor Jim Chace. Meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, at the Middletown Police Station and we will walk over together to the mobile bird banding station and see what Jim catches!
Bailey Brook is a primary source of drinking water for Middletown and Newport residents, and serves as habitat for several migratory bird species. ALT worked in partnership with the Town of Middletown to preserve the parcel of land buffering Bailey Brook.
