Join the Aquidneck Land Trust for a bird banding demonstration at Bailey Brook with ecology professor Dr. Jim Chace of Salve Regina University!
Bailey Brook is a primary source of drinking water for Middletown and Newport residents and serves as a habitat for several migratory bird species. The Sweet Flag property buffers Bailey Brook and was protected by ALT in 2006. Jim will be catching and banding migrant and resident songbird species. Hear about the different species of birds Jim has observed and banded on the property.
