Come explore and enjoy nature on a guided hike through the Blackall Family Preserve. This 132-acre Town-owned open space is co-managed by the Cumberland Land Trust. Observe a variety of habitats along trails of moderate terrain, with some hills. The hike is approximately 2 miles and is appropriate for adults and families with children ages five and older. The trail is not handicap accessible. No bathroom facilities are available. Participants should wear appropriate boots or shoes for hiking, bring water and apply bug repellent. Light refreshments will also be provided. The event is expected to last 1 ½ hours. Please leave your pets at home. Due to site constraints, the Cumberland Land Trust is limiting the number of participants to 50 people.

Directions: The Preserve is located in the Cumberland Hill area. From 295, take the exit for Rt 122 and turn right to head north. Travel 2.5 miles to the intersection with Manville Hill Road (light). Proceed straight to next light and turn right onto West Wrentham Road. Travel about .6 miles. The public access to the Preserve is located on the left just below Old Wrentham Road with roadside parking available.
