Land Trust Days: THANKSGIVING EDITION
Join the Burrillville Land Trust for a post-Thanksgiving walk in the woods… and then grab a beer afterward!
Walk the woods that Ed Vock walked. See trees, shrubs, birds, talk about the American Chestnut. See one of a kind glacial erratics from Canada and cross streams and brooks. And then go have some craft beer at a local brewery in beautiful downtown Pascoag, RI.
Hear the voices of Paul, and Don, and Doris, and others as we tell stories, share news and generally have a good time. This is a fun walk with time to stay still and listen. And, if we are really nice, we will get a visit from our very own Pokémon woodland creature. Add our creature to your list of others in the RIWalks creature find contest.
Walk: Start – 3:00pm End – 4:30pm. Beer: 5pm
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bug spray and water. Leashed dogs welcome.
Guided walk is free. Beer afterward is on you!
Walk may be canceled if inclement weather. Updates will be shared on the Facebook & Meetup event pages. Text (401) 447-1560 is unsure about weather on the day of the walk.
Questions? Contact Paul (401) 447-1560 (…or post a question in the Facebook or Meetup event!)
