Join the Land Conservancy of North Kingstown to walk back in time through historic Wickford Village. Town historian Tim Cranston will tell stories of the history of the area, highlighting the Bush Hill Preserve and the ongoing project to restore a footbridge across Mill Cove that was used by farmers as early as the 1700s. All ages are welcome. The walk will be at a leisurely pace for a distance of about 1 mile. Please wear comfortable shoes. Public restrooms are located in the town parking lot, across from the meeting location of Updike Park.
There is no charge for this event but registration is requested (email lcnk.info@gmail.com to register).
