Celebrate Land Trust Days and enjoy a special twilight guided hike illuminated by the beautiful glow of September’s Harvest Moon at Weeden Farm on Matunuck Beach Road. We’ll discuss the history of Weeden Farm, listen for owls and other nocturnal wildlife, and more. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the campfire, make a s’more, and bring their own snacks to enjoy.
This event is free, with a suggested donation of $10 per attendee. Dogs are not allowed on guided hikes.
Directions
From the North or South: take Route 1 to Matunuck Beach Road. Take the second driveway on the right (17 Matunuck Beach Road) and park in the lot for the South Kingstown Land Trust Barn. The trail starts just inside the opening in the stone wall as you enter the parking lot.
