Join the Bristol Land Conservation Trust for a full moonrise walk at Mount Hope Farm! The view from the big field on a clear evening is amazing– you don’t want to miss it.
There will be a brief Welcome & Introduction before we start off in one or two groups. Every moonrise walk is different with always some fun surprises. We may hear an owl or two, see a shooting star, see the International Space Station pass over, see a planet, or experience a beautiful sunset. The list goes on. The walk back is under the light of the silvery moon! The reflection of moonlight on the water is calm and the duck pond is spectacular.
We will meet at the main parking lot below the barn and walk approximately one mile to the Cove Cabin to view the rising full harvest moon over Mount Hope Bay.
Dress appropriately, wear comfortable shoes for walking, and a bring camera or binoculars, a flashlight. and insect repellent. Pets are not permitted at Mount Hope Farm.
Cost: $10 per person, $20 per family. (Cash or check only.)
