Please join the Cumberland Land Trust for a holiday walk at the 184 acre Blackall Family and Ballou Farm Preserve. Hikers will have their choice of two guided walks, 2.2 miles or 3.5 miles in length. The trails are easy to moderate in difficulty but include some medium sized hills and a bit of rock hopping. Hikers will experience beautiful woodlands, historic stone walls and stream crossings while those choosing the longer hike might be lucky enough to spot Cumberlandite, the mysterious Rhode Island State Rock found nowhere else in the world but Cumberland, RI.
It is advised that hikers wear sturdy footwear, protect themselves from insects and carry drinking water.
Kid-friendly, no dogs allowed.
