Join The Warren Land Conservation Trust for a row on the Palmer River from Belcher’s Cove to Tom’s Island and back!
Come see the River’s natural beauty and wildlife, while also learning about Warren Land Conservation Trust’s properties and efforts to preserve, protect, and make them accessible for public enjoyment. All while learning to row a historic wooden boat!
Participants will learn to row a Pilot Gig or a Gunning Dory. Each boat will be guided by an experienced coxswain who will provide instruction to participating rowers. After a one mile row, disembark on WLCT property Tom’s Island and view the shore of Haile Farm Preserve.
This event is suitable for adults 18+. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and water shoes. A life vest will be provided for each rower. Please be sure to register ahead of time by emailing marthaantaya@gmail.com.

Directions and Parking: Take RI Rt. 114 to 27 Kelly Street, Warren RI. Kelly street is across from Patriot Liquors. Follow Kelly St to the end after crossing the East Bay Bike Path. Park in German American Club lot.
