The Nature Conservancy, Tiverton Land Trust, and Tiverton Open Space Commission invite you to explore their protected coastal forest at Pocasset Ridge. The guided hike along the ridge and into this 600-acre tract of coastal forest with its many rock formations will be hosted by John Berg of The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island.
Plan to walk for 3.5 miles over rough ground, there are some hillsides to climb. So make sure you are well-equipped with appropriate attire!
Travel light but there are no services or conveniences in this forest tract. Birders especially welcome!
Reservations not necessary but the walk will leave promptly at 1:30 PM. We will take attendance, then, to ensure we return to the parking area two and a half hours later with the same number of hikers!
