Let your creativity flow inspired by Watson Farm, a beautiful seaside farm with 265 acres of coastal farmland and heritage breed sheep and cattle, managed by Historic New England. This full-day of plein air watercolor painting will be led by artist Vicki Iannuccillo.

After a one-hour demonstration of landscape painting, set up your materials and capture the many facets of the farm buildings, grazing animals, stone walls, and gardens on the grounds. Vicki can offer guidance on composition, lighting, and painting techniques.

Please bring painting materials (suggested list will be supplied) and a bag lunch, but leave all pets at home. Open to all levels of experience including beginners. Rain date next day.

Directions: Take Route 138 east across Jamestown Bridge. Take Helm St. exit. Turn right onto North Road. The farm is 0.3 miles on the right. From Newport Bridge, take the first exit. Follow signs to Jamestown. Turn right on Narragansett Avenue. Turn right at light on North Road. The farm is 1.6 miles on the left. Drive slowly down the narrow (but two-way) driveway and park in visitor parking on the left.
