WHAT LIVES IN THE RIVER? – 9am-11am
All ages are invited to join Narrow River Preservation Association for this hands-on exploration of fish, shellfish, crabs and other inhabitants of Narrow River. We will use nets large and small to catch river creatures and examine them in touch tanks and under microscopes. Experts and guidebooks will be on hand. This event is open to all ages, however, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants are welcome to get into the water, please dress appropriately.
NARRAGANSETT SALT MARSH WALK
Saturday, September 15, 2018 – 10am – Noon
Take a salt marsh walk with Narrow River Land Trust. Expert guides will lead a walk along the salt marsh and intertidal zone. All are welcome to walk and learn about salt marshes and the animals that thrive in this critical ecosystem. Please wear shoes that can get wet.
