The Smithfield Land Trust and the Smithfield Conservation Commission invite you to experience the latest poetry installation on their properties. They have poems installed in quiet places to encourage a thoughtful rest on a hike. Poetry boxes are also present at many properties. They have contributions from many local poets and artists. On the guided hike, participants will hike to the area of the installation and be part of it with the volunteers who put it up. This is a great family activity. Wolf Hill Forest preserve is a hilly start and the hike will be about 1 mile (not handicap accessible). Wear hiking clothes, bring bug spray, and water. While dogs are welcome at Wolf Hill, they may not do well on this walk.
