The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is a fiscally sponsored program of Third Sector New England (TSNE).
Ways to Give:
Supporters who wish to donate by check, Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), or ACH should make their gift payable to “TSNE / RI Land Trust Council.”
For DAF contributions, please be sure to specify that your donation is designated for the Rhode Island Land Trust Council.
If you are interested in supporting the Council through stock or bond gifts or by including us in your will or estate plans, please contact Kate Sayles directly at ksayles@rilandtrustcouncil.org
Did you know that Rhode Island land trusts protect more than 61,000 acres? Or that 70% of Rhode Island’s land trusts are run entirely by volunteers? As such, land trusts have come to rely on the Rhode Island Land Trust Council to advocate for, provide technical support, and develop responsible policy and action plans.
The Council owns no land itself, so that means every dollar raised directly impacts the resources and tools that we make available to land trusts. By supporting the Council you are increasing the capacity of all land trusts in the State.
We really need your help. The federal shutdown delayed key conservation programs, and funding for land protection and stewardship is uncertain. The Council has been stepping up — providing leadership, sharing information across the state, and being the voice for the environment when it’s needed most.
Your support means that you are helping to:
- Promote responsible land use and stewardship
- Advocate for sound land conservation policy
- Expand programming like Land Trust Days and the RIWalks Challenge that showcase land trust properties and programs
- Ensure future generations have access to open spaces
Consider making a donation today, or reach out to learn more ways that you can support the Council and its work.
