This year, we are kicking off Land Trust Days at Borders Farm in Foster as part of their Second Sundays at the Farm on August 10th! Many great organizations will be participating, including the Northern RI Conservation District, 15 Minute Field Trips, and Foster Public Library.
Land Trust Days is a two-month celebration highlighting the work of Rhode Island’s 50+ land trusts. From August 10th through October 26th, RILTC will coordinate over 50 outdoor events across the state, including guided walks, full moon hikes, wildlife demonstrations, birdwatching, kayaking, kite flying, and more.
RILTC will be leading a walk at 12:30pm to find the Thistle creature hidden at Borders Farm! The winner of our Creature Clash, Thistle is the official RILTC mascot for 2025. We will also have Thistle merch for sale!
