Fall Kickoff Guided Walk at Grills Wildlife Sanctuary

Kick off the fall season on Saturday, September 19th at 10am with the Hopkinton Land Trust Friends Group for a guided walk at Grills Wildlife Sanctuary! The walk will be led by Marc Doherty, Land Stewardship Manager for the Westerly Land Trust, who will share his knowledge of trees and forest stewardship as we explore the trails. Along the way, we’ll also learn about the Forest Health Monitoring Program taking place on Hopkinton Land Trust and Westerly Land Trust protected properties and how you can get involved in monitoring the long-term health of our forests. Light refreshments will be served!

This walk is part of the Rhode Island Land Trust Council’s #LandTrustDays and Hopkinton’s 250th anniversary celebration. Free and open to all.

Grills Wildlife Sanctuary is located on Chase Hill Road in Hopkinton. Participants will be notified of any cancellations due to weather via email.
