Gansett Days: Sunset Farm Trail Walk

The Narragansett Land Conservancy Trust (NLCT): Will sponsor a walk along the Sunset Farm Trail on Sunday, September 20, 2026, as part of the Gansett Days celebration. Participants will meet in the parking area behind Kinney Bungalow. This is a dog friendly walk, and dogs MUST always be leashed and picked up after.

The trail is wide, showing the traditional farming uses onsite. The entire 1.5-mile loop is in the shape of a “lasso,” and is generally flat with a few sections of elevation change, but none are steep. The trail head is at the far northwest point of the parking lot, next to the gate entering the farm area. The trails boast scenic views of the farm, diverse natural features, as well as an overlook and picnic area on Champlin Cove in Point Judith Pond. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed
