Housing & Conservation Trust Fund Act Passes Senate

The Housing & Conservation Trust Fund Act (S711) passed nearly unanimously on the Senate floor last Thursday! The bill has been referred back to the House Municipal Government & Housing Committee, and we hope that it’s scheduled for consideration soon.

This bill restructures the Rhode Island Housing and Conservation Trust Fund, increases its membership to 15 members, 11 of whom are to be from the general public and reallocates the percentage of the funds for housing, conservation and other goals.
