The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is pleased to announce the availability of funding to help offset the costs for individuals attending the Land Trust Alliance’s Rally in Providence on September 26-28. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to support the professional development and capacity building of land trusts in Rhode Island.
Due to a generous grant from the Rhode Island Foundation, we are offering financial assistance to eligible applicants to defray the costs of attending the Rally. As the traditional Land & Water Summit in March will not be held in 2025, we encourage land trusts to allocate their typical Land and Water Summit ticket budgets towards attending this important event.
Complete the application form below to request funding. Applications will be evaluated based on need and the availability of funds. Award amounts will vary based on the individual’s financial need and the total funds available.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be staff, a board member, or active land trust member of a Rhode Island land trust
- Priority for funding will be given to those who have applied for stipends and scholarships
